Tell Bolson on the Lurelin Village beach that the village should host a water rally, then travel to Tarrey Town in the Akkala region, beat Tali’s record on Fernison’s course and bring Tali and Shabonne back to Lurelin Village. You end up with a new water rally course to race on.
Walkthrough
Suggest a water rally to Bolson
Talk to Bolson and Rozel on the beach south of Lurelin Village, along the left side of the lagoon. When Bolson asks for ideas, choose “Host a water rally?”. Rozel and Bolson like it and suggest inviting the racing professionals from Tarrey Town, Tali, Shabonne and Fernison.
Ask the racers at Tarrey Town
Travel to Tarrey Town and find Fernison, Tali and Shabonne at the race course. Fernison agrees to let them help, but wants someone to beat Tali’s course record so she can capture the race data. Tali and Shabonne wait at the Hudson Construction Site near Tarrey Town and will not come to Lurelin until you have beaten the record. If you have not yet done Master the Vehicle Prototype, give Fernison a Steering Stick first (one comes from a Zonai dispenser in the sky above the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower), then talk to her again for The Tarrey Town Race Is On!
Beat Tali’s record
Talk to Fernison to take the Tarrey Town Race. Build a vehicle with the provided parts and the steering stick at the table, drive through every light on the course and return to the start in under two minutes. A platform with wheels and a fan or two on the back is an easy build. Once you beat the time, Tali and Shabonne agree to go to Lurelin Village.
Return to Lurelin Village
Go back to Lurelin, where Rozel, Bolson, Tali and Shabonne gather at the tip of Korne Beach (marked on your map). After a short talk the water rally course is built and the quest ends. Talk to Bolson whenever you want to try the Lurelin Water Rally.
Rewards
The quest rewards you with the Lurelin Water Rally course, which you can race on for free as often as you like. Its start area supplies the parts for a water vehicle, and it works like the land course at Tarrey Town: your vehicle must float at the starting line, and letting go of the steering stick or leaving the course disqualifies you.
Tips
- The Tarrey Town course uses any vehicle you can build from the provided Zonai parts, as long as you steer with the provided stick.
- Fans and wheels give the fastest early builds; keep every light on the course in your path.
