Walkthrough
Talk to Manny
Find Manny standing behind the big mushroom sign beside Ventest Clothing in Hateno Village; the quest has no prerequisites and can be taken at any time. He claims a friend of a friend likes Ivee and asks you to find out what she would like as a present.
Ask Ivee what she wants
Walk to the East Wind general store and talk to Ivee, the greeter outside. Ask what she likes and she tells you that nothing would make her happier than 100 Hot-Footed Frogs. Return to Manny with the news.
Catch 10 Hot-Footed Frogs
Manny asks for ten frogs to start. Hot-Footed Frogs hop around the edges of water in wells and caves. The Hateno Village South Well on the cliffside at the south of the village has three frogs outside it and many more jumping around inside; others are behind the general store, up the hill by the well, and in puddles around the middle of town. Use Ascend to leave the well when you have ten. Sneak up on them and grab them before they hop away.
Hand the frogs to Manny
Return to Manny and give him the ten Hot-Footed Frogs. He pays you 10 Rushrooms and admits that he is the one trying to win Ivee over, and that he will hunt down the rest of the frogs himself.
Rewards
You earn 10 Rushrooms, which can be cooked into dishes that increase your movement speed.
Tips
- Hot-Footed Frogs make a Speed Up elixir when cooked with a monster part, so any extras are worth keeping.
- Approach frogs while crouching, since they leap away when you run at them.
