Walkthrough
Talk to Bayge
Enter the Southern Mine and speak to Bayge, the Goron foreman at the entrance chamber. Agree to play and he explains the rules: you must stay in the cart for the entire ride, and falling or climbing out disqualifies you.

Ride the track and hit the targets
Place the provided mine cart on the rails (Ultrahand works) and sit in it. The cart rolls on its own; use your bow to pop the balloon targets beside and above the track. You need five. You cannot use your own cart or fuse items to this one.

Collect the prize
When you finish, stop at the start platform and talk to Bayge. He pays your prize and Heehl invites you to try the intermediate course. Most written guides list the prize as a Red Rupee (20 rupees); the payout seen in play was 100 rupees (a Silver Rupee is worth 100), so expect either depending on the source.

Rewards
- 100 rupees as paid out in play (written guides list a Red Rupee, 20 rupees)
- Access to the Quickshot Course
Tips
- The first ride is free and comes with 10 arrows. After that you must bring your own arrows or pay 20 rupees for some, and replays pay out more rupees.
- Your bow can break mid-ride, so bring a spare.
- Fusing items to arrows is allowed.
