Walkthrough
Buy the Heroines Manuscript
After Misko’s Cave of Chests, talk to the brothers by the campfire outside Cephla Lake Cave and pay 100 rupees. The riddle reads: “Statues of the eight heroines reside in the desert. Enter the valley carved into Hemaar’s Descent, and shine the light of day upon the towering eighth. The path to the treasure will open before you.”

Climb to the statue and get a Mirror
Go to Hemaar’s Descent in the snowy Gerudo Highlands with cold resistance; Otutsum Shrine, just west of Gerudo Summit, is the easy fast-travel point, and the statue lies to its north-east at the cliff edge. A chest on a ledge near the statue holds a Mirror (about -4361, -454, 471). Ride a Fan up to the ledge.

Aim the light at the statue
Wait for daytime and place a Mirror on the ledge so that it faces the sun and reflects onto the statue’s chest. Hold the beam on the glowing receptor for several seconds, rotating the Mirror with Ultrahand as needed.

Enter the cave and open the chest
The statue’s cave opens below its chest. Walk inside past the Gibdos, pick up the Fan at the back with Ultrahand and use it to blow the sand off the banner-draped chest in the large chamber and open it for Tingle’s Hood.

Rewards
Tingle’s Hood.
Tips
- If the sun is not out, rest at a campfire until noon.
- The area is cold, so bring cold resistance.
