Buy the manuscript for 100 rupees, sail to the cliff base under Cape Cales in East Necluda, stand on the floating plank in front of the gated cave and whistle. Inside the pirate cavern, a chest behind the crates on the ship holds Tingle’s Tights.
Walkthrough
Buy the Pirate Manuscript
After Misko’s Cave of Chests, talk to Domidak or Prissen outside Cephla Lake Cave and pay 100 rupees for the Pirate Manuscript. Its riddle reads: “A forgotten pirate cavern lurks at the foot of Cape Cales, overlooking the Necluda Sea. The short, shrill song of wind through lips will open the way to my treasure.” The clue to the entrance is a whistle.
Sail to the cliff base
Go to the foot of Cape Cales on the East Necluda coast, build a raft with a Fan and reach the Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave, a gated cave mouth in the cliff at about (3650, -3210); guides’ coordinates differ by a few dozen units, so rely on the map marker.
Whistle at the gate
You cannot whistle while swimming, so pull the nearby wooden plank in front of the gate, balance it on the water, stand on it and whistle (press Down on the D-pad). The gate rises and reveals the pirate cavern.
Search the pirate ship
Ride the floating slate and use Ascend to get onto the ship’s deck, mind the Stal enemies guarding it, go to the edge of the ship where the wooden crates are, and open the chest hidden behind them for Tingle’s Tights.

- Stand on the plank rather than swimming, or the whistle will not trigger.
