Walkthrough
Ask Sayge for reference material
Go to Kochi Dye Shop on the main road of Hateno Village and talk to Sayge. His first visit gives you the Cece Fabric and lets you rework your paraglider for 20 rupees; do that once, then talk to him again and he asks for the reference. You need the Camera on your Purah Pad (a short quest unlocks it) and 20 rupees. He tells you he wants to base a design on a common, blue Chuchu and asks you to find some reference material.

Photograph a Chuchu and show Sayge
Find an ordinary blue Chuchu (not a fire, ice or electric one), such as in the Hateno Village wells or the woods near the village’s west entrance, and photograph it with the Camera, keeping its name on screen. The picture registers in the Hyrule Compendium automatically, and if you already have a Chuchu entry you can go straight back. Talk to Sayge and choose “I have a new reference”.

Take the Chuchu Fabric
Sayge turns your picture into a pattern and gives you the Chuchu Fabric. When you rework your paraglider at the shop he charges 20 rupees to apply it. Show him pictures of other creatures (Cucco, Aerocuda, Gleeok, Grizzlemaw-Bear and others) for more fabrics.

Rewards
You earn Chuchu Fabric, a paraglider design you can apply at Kochi Dye Shop. Sayge also makes further fabrics (such as Cucco and Grizzlemaw-Bear) if you show him pictures of those creatures.
