Walkthrough

Talk to Kima and ask at the Goron Hot Springs

Find Kima on the wooden bridge above Goron City. He wants to track down a secret hot spring and plans to ask the regulars at the Goron Hot Springs, south-east of the city. Go there (the sign for Death Mountain Marker 7 stands at the edge of the springs) and talk to Grapp, the Goron soaking in a shallow pool to its left, who points you toward Gorko Tunnel: the entrance was blocked after the Upheaval.

Break through the walls in Gorko Tunnel

Gorko Tunnel is south-east of the springs and its tunnels are hot, so wear Flamebreaker armor or drink a Fireproof Elixir. Follow the cave until the way is blocked by rubble, then break through it with a hammer or heavy weapon, or have Yunobo charge into it. Clear any second wall behind it. Bring spare hammers, since you may need to smash through several walls, and watch for an armored Blue Bokoblin on the trail and a Like Like that spews boulders along the route. A Bubbulfrog is in the tunnel too.

Reach the hot spring

Beyond the wall is a steaming pool: Simmerstone Springs. Step in and Kima joins you, delighted with the temperature. Talk to him to complete the quest.

Rewards

  • Silver Rupee (100 rupees).
  • Kima drops Bird Eggs in the spring to boil them and lets you take as many of the cooked eggs as you like.
