Lester’s beige, dappled horse Spot has run off. Find it grazing in Hyrule Field south-west of Lookout Landing near the Passeri Greenbelt, sneak up and calm it, then ride it back to the stable for 50 rupees and a Swift Carrot.
Walkthrough
Talk to Lester
Speak to Lester at the Lookout Landing stable. He tells you that Spot ran away but is timid, so he is probably still nearby. Spot has a beige coat with grey spots and a black mane and tail.

Find and calm Spot
Head into the grass of Hyrule Field south-west of the stable (about -336, -54, 23), where a herd of wild horses graze. Spot is the spotted one. Approach slowly from behind, crouching and tilting the stick only slightly so he does not bolt, then mount him and soothe him until he calms down.

Ride Spot home
Ride back to the stable gate and talk to Lester. You can talk to him from horseback. He thanks you with 50 rupees and a Swift Carrot, and talking to him again lets you park Spot at the stable as your own horse.

Rewards
50 rupees (a Purple Rupee), a Swift Carrot, and Spot registered as a horse in your stable, which also opens the Mini Stable at Lookout Landing.
Tips
- Stealth armour or approaching in rain makes the sneak easier; an Ice arrow can freeze the horse if he keeps running.
