Walkthrough
Talk to Symin
Find Symin in the classroom of Hateno School in Hateno Village during the day while class is in session (sleep at the inn until noon if needed). His students do not believe the story of the Calamity, so he wants an elaborate picture of the screen that depicts it. The screen hangs in Paya’s Hall in Kakariko Village.
Photograph the screen in Paya’s Hall
Travel to Kakariko Village and go into Paya’s Hall. Pull out the camera and frame the screen showing the Calamity on the upper floor, making sure its name pops up on screen so the photo counts, then save the picture to your Album.
Show Symin the picture
Return to Hateno School during class, talk to Symin and choose the screen picture from your Album. He shows it to the class and rewards you with Hylian Rice x10. He then asks for a monster curry lesson, which starts the follow-up quest.
