Quest typeSide quest
GiverBludo
Starts inGoron City
RequirementsYunobo of Goron City completed; bow and a Bomb Flower or other way to break rocks; heat protection for Death Mountain
RewardVah Rudania Divine Helm

Bludo’s riddle (“one brother hunts what the other brother hides, two lizards fighting over what’s inside”) points at Lizard’s Burrow (2206, 3075, 405) on the north side of Death Mountain in Eldin Canyon. Blast your way in and open the chest at the back for the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.

Walkthrough

Hear Bludo’s riddle

Talk to Bludo in the middle of Goron City (he appears once Yunobo of Goron City is done). He tells you about the lizard-shaped lakes halfway up Death Mountain on the north side, and a YunoboCo dig site there. The Lizard Lakes are the pair of lake basins on that slope; the burrow sits between them.

Break into Lizard’s Burrow

Climb to the north side of Death Mountain and find the cave mouth between the two lizard lakes. Rocks block the way in the dark tunnel, so shoot a Bomb Flower fused to an arrow, or throw bombs, to open a path, and keep going. Bubbul Gem hunters can find a frog in the cave too.

Open the chest

At the back of the burrow the chest lies in a small chamber. Open it to take the Vah Rudania Divine Helm, a Flame Guard helm that protects against heat, and the quest completes.

Rewards

  • Vah Rudania Divine Helm

Tips

  • Bring heat resistance such as a Fireproof Elixir or a Flamebreaker piece for the climb.
  • This chest is not the one underwater in the lake basin; the Divine Helm is in the burrow.
  • Fast travel to Sibajitak Shrine or the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower and head to the lizard-shaped lakes to shorten the climb. The entrance is hidden behind rubble, so any explosive (a Bomb Flower arrow is the usual choice) or Yunobo’s ability will open it.
