Seggin in Zora’s Domain wants to see Princess Mipha’s statue shining in the moonlight once more. Visit the Mipha statue (Mipha Point, above Mipha Court) on a clear night, take a picture of the Mipha statue with the Purah Pad camera and show it to him for a Zora Sword.

Walkthrough

Talk to Seggin

Find Seggin, a Zora on the bridge west of the throne room in Zora’s Domain, and speak with him to start the quest. He misses the sight of Mipha holding her Lightscale Trident in the moonlight.

Go to Mipha’s Court at night

Make your way to the Mipha statue at Mipha Point, above Mipha Court (fast travel to Ihen-a Shrine, east of Zora’s Domain, and climb the stairs south to the statue; some guides call the clifftop Shatterback Point). Arrive after dark with the moon out, between about 10:30 PM and 2:30 AM; the moon rises around 10 PM. If it is still daytime, rest at the inn in Zora’s Domain until the evening.

Photograph the Mipha statue

Open the camera on the Purah Pad and frame the statue on its fountain. The shot counts as the “Moonlit Mipha statue” when the moon is out, so wait for a clear night sky before you take it; if rain is forecast, keep resting until it clears. Wait until the moon sits above the statue; the photo earns a red exclamation mark when it counts.

Show the picture to Seggin

Go back to Seggin, talk to him and show him the picture from your album. He is moved by it and gives you a Zora Sword (make room first if your weapon inventory is full).

  • Zora Sword

Tips

  • Take the picture at night; a daytime photo of the statue will not do.
  • You can shoot the statue from any angle.
