Walkthrough
Meet Uma at the school garden
Head to the school field on the lower cliff directly in front of Hateno School (beside the Hateno Village West Well) once Teach Me a Lesson II is complete. Uma, who tends the field, greets you and offers to plant something to celebrate you becoming a teacher.

Choose what to plant
Uma can grow pumpkins, carrots, radishes, tomatoes, wildberries, wheat, rice and hydromelons. Pick one of the listed crops from your Materials to hand over. She admits she knows less about raising Endura Carrots and Hearty Radishes, so those yield a little less than the rest.

Return to harvest
Come back after the plants have had time to grow. The quest log reads: come back and visit once the plants are fully grown. Talk to Uma and the harvest is yours. Speak to her again afterwards if you want a different crop planted.

Rewards
The grown crop you chose, free to harvest. Uma will plant something else on request. The quest itself ends with your first harvest and gives no separate item; afterwards the field stays open for you to plant whatever you like.
Crops, yields and timing
- Most crops give nine per harvest. Endura Carrots give only three and either Hearty Radish only two.
- Uma plants one crop type at a time, and you need a matching crop in your inventory to hand over.
- Guides give different growth times: about two in-game days (roughly 48 minutes of play) according to most, three in-game days according to PowerPyx. It runs on real play time, so resting at an inn or by a fire does not speed it up.
- Sources disagree slightly on the crop list; Gamer Guides omits Sun Pumpkin and Big Hearty Radish. Check Uma’s menu for what she accepts.
