March of the Demon King sends Ganondorf back to the Valley of Seers to take the Triforce of Power from Lana. You fight through Goron reinforcements, free Zant and Ghirahim from the Sanctums, defeat Impa and her clones, and finally beat Lana and her two copies. Clearing it opens Battle of the Triforce.

Before you start

You play only as Ganondorf, so bring him well levelled. Pick a weapon that handles crowds, since Gorons come in large numbers. Fire and water attacks matter against Impa’s clones, so have a way to use both. Carry healing items for the long climb.

Goron reinforcements

Fight your way toward Lana, defeating Goron troops and captains. A Messenger advances to call more reinforcements, so reach it quickly and cut it down.

Free Zant and Ghirahim

Lana traps Zant and Ghirahim inside the Sanctums. Capture the two Sanctum keeps to open their gates and free them. Taking the Sanctums also reduces the valley’s sacred power, which makes the Hyrulean Forces lose morale.

Impa and her clones

Impa splits into four clones that respawn as you fight them. Defeat them with fire attacks first, then water attacks. Then keep pushing toward Lana so the real Impa reveals herself, and defeat her.

Lana boss fight

Climb to the peak and defeat Lana. She warps to the Fairy Fountain Keep, then splits into three copies that head for Magic Circles at opposite ends of the valley. Defeat the three Lanas before they escape to finish the scenario.

March of the Demon King Gold Skulltulas

Heart Container and Piece of Heart

Rewards and what unlocks next

Ganondorf now holds the Triforce of Power. Continue to Battle of the Triforce, where he faces Link and Zelda in Hyrule Field.
