Enduring Resolve opens the Grand Finale in the Gerudo Desert. The objective is to hunt down Ghirahim and Zant, and you win by finding the real pair after beating their decoys. It unlocks Liberation of the Triforce, the last scenario of the main story.

Before you start

Choose from Link, Sheik, Lana and Zelda. Link is the safest pick for a first run and the one you need for the Heart Container. Lana suffers from the desert heat, so if you play her keep an eye on her health. Bring healing items, since you cross a lot of open sand. You will come back with Zelda and Lana for the other collectibles.

Ghirahim

Defeat Ghirahim at the Arbiter’s Keep

Head south and fight Ghirahim, who retreats to the Arbiter’s Keep. Beat him there, but expect it to feel too easy, because he is a decoy; Lana remarks as much herself. Lana is struck by the heat and a Big Poe closes in on her, so capture the North Oasis Keep to give her shade and cool air.

Zant

Open the Clifftop Keep and defeat Zant

Zant partially closes the Clifftop Keep. Fight through it, defeat the Shield Moblin inside to open its doors, then chase and defeat Zant to reopen the way. He teleports away mid-fight, so keep pressing him.

Lana

Protect Lana and the Allied Base

Return to Lana. Enemies swarm the base, and she summons Darunia, Midna and Fi to help. Once they arrive you unlock them as playable warriors, the fight turns in your favour, but reinforcements pour in through the reopened gates, so keep capturing keeps. Zelda guards the base while you search.

Ghirahim

Find the real Ghirahim and Zant

Search the desert keeps until you reach the Sacred Grounds Keep, where the real Ghirahim and Zant are waiting. Defeat both to win the scenario.

Take them one at a time if you can. Stay mobile, use crowd-clearing attacks to keep their troops off you, and heal between exchanges. Once both health bars are empty the battle ends.

Gold Skulltula

Beneath the boulder at the S. Desert Keep

Available on any difficulty. Defeat 1,000 enemies and a banner announces that a Gold Skulltula has appeared on the battlefield. Break the boulder on the south side outside the S. Desert Keep.

North Prison (Hard or Hero)

Play as Zelda with the Rapier on Hard or Hero. On the Definitive Edition, defeat every Keep Saboteur, Rally Captain and Skilled Summoner while keeping all commandable warriors at 30 percent health or more. The Gold Skulltula sits beneath a boulder in the North Prison.

Play as Lana and go to the Central Keep to receive the Piece of Heart. Replay the scenario with her once it is cleared.
