Land of Twilight is the first scenario of the Twilight Princess story. Lana arrives in a Hyrule swallowed by twilight, rescues Agitha and follows a Goddess Butterfly until Midna snatches it. You win by chasing Midna down and defeating her, after which she joins your side with the Cursed Shackle.

Before you start

Lana is your only warrior, so bring her best levelled weapon. The Heart Container needs the Hookshot, which comes from The Shadow King, so plan to return here later. For the Hard Gold Skulltula, equip Lana with the Book of Sorcery.

Rescue Agitha and follow the Goddess Butterfly

Escort her through the field

Keep Agitha safe as she follows the butterfly toward her destination. The way forward is shut until you capture the Outskirts Keep, which opens the gate for her, so take it first and clear the enemies ahead of her as she goes. Once she has arrived safely, the scenario moves on to Midna.

Defeat Midna

Now go after Midna directly and defeat her. Agitha then asks for the butterfly back, Midna realises Lana is no ally of Cia and joins the army.

Rewards and what unlocks next

Midna and the Cursed Shackle are yours now. The results screen can also award the Butterfly Parasol, a Light weapon, and adds Hyrule Historia entries for Midna and Agitha. Continue with The Shadow King.
