Phantom Helmet
Phantom Armor
Phantom Greaves

The Phantom Armor Set is a trio of chests buried around Central Hyrule, found by following rumours from a bandit’s journal at the Outpost Ruins. Each chest needs Magnesis. Every piece has a base defence of 8 and raises your attack.
Pieces and locations
| Piece | Slot | Defence | Where to find it | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phantom Helmet | Head | 8 | Coliseum Ruins | |
| Phantom Armor | Body | 8 | Sacred Ground Ruins | |
| Phantom Greaves | Legs | 8 | Hyrule Garrison Ruins |
How to start the quest
With the Master Trials pack installed, go to the Outpost Ruins in Central Hyrule and read the journal written by Misko the bandit. It starts EX Treasure: Phantasma and gives a rumour for each piece.
Finding each piece
Phantom Helmet
Go to the Coliseum Ruins and enter the arena. A Lynel patrols inside, so defeat it or sneak past. Look along the north-west walls of the ground floor, aim Magnesis at the buried chest and pull it up.

Phantom Armor
Travel to the Sacred Ground Ruins, just south of Hyrule Castle. Check the middle ring of water along the south-east side, then use Magnesis to pull the chest out of the rubble and open it.

Phantom Greaves
Head to the Hyrule Garrison Ruins, south-east of Central Tower. Look for a decayed Guardian on the eastern end of the ruins; the chest is buried beneath it. Raise it with Magnesis to collect the greaves.

Using the set
- Each piece grants Attack Up, so wearing more of them increases the effect.
- Sources disagree on whether wearing the full set adds a separate named bonus; only the Attack Up from the pieces is agreed.
- Each piece’s description warns that it is a rare find that cannot be replaced if sold, so keep all three.
