Where to find it
Chuchu are scattered across Hyrule Field, Necluda, Akkala and the Great Plateau. They often wait on the ground or drop from tree branches onto passing travelers.
Behavior
A Chuchu bounces toward you and lunges. Larger ones simply take more hits; the damage stays very low at every size. Because they are slow and predictable, they are a safe target for practising dodges and counters.
How to beat it
Hit it with anything
Swing your lightest weapon. Small Chuchu fall in one hit and even the large ones go down in a few strikes.

Dodge the lunge
If a large Chuchu is bouncing at you, step sideways as it jumps and strike while it recovers.

Weaknesses
- No special weakness; every weapon works.
- Fire, ice or shock applied to a plain Chuchu changes the jelly it leaves behind (see Drops).
