Where to find it
You will meet it in the rocky, volcanic land of Eldin Canyon and in the Gerudo Highlands, usually crouched among boulders. It stays hidden until you come near, so a rock or mound of stone that looks slightly out of place deserves a second look before you walk past.
How to beat it
Spot it before it pops up
Watch for the disguise. Once you step inside its range it rises out of cover and turns toward you.
Deflect the shot
It inhales and then fires. Raise your shield as the shot arrives to parry it back, or strafe to one side. It can inhale a thrown weapon or bomb, so do not throw gear at it while its mouth is open; hit it in melee or shoot it instead.
Finish it
Run in and hit it, or fire an arrow from range. With 8 health almost any weapon kills it in one hit. If it ducks back underground, approach again and it will resurface.
