Where to find it
Blademasters guard the Yiga Clan Hideout in the Gerudo Highlands. Once you have been through the Hideout, they can also ambush you elsewhere, notably at the eastern foot of the southern part of the Bridge of Hylia and near the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.
How to beat it
Sneak in the Hideout
Creep up from behind while it faces away and use a sneak strike with a strong weapon for a huge hit. If it spots you, it signals for Footsoldier reinforcements. Mighty Bananas dropped away from your path will lure it off its patrol.
Bait the ground stab
In open fights, wait for the ground slam, dodge sideways and counter while it recovers.
Parry and rush
Parry the Windcleaver swings, or dodge at the last moment for a flurry rush and a free combo.
