Where to find it
Footsoldiers ambush you across Hyrule, often appearing from a disguise as a traveler or villager. Archers also stand guard inside the Yiga Clan Hideout in the Gerudo Highlands.
How to beat it
Spot the ambush
Be suspicious of strangers who approach you directly. Back away and keep your weapon ready.
Parry and counter
Footsoldiers rush in quickly. Dodge sideways for a flurry rush or parry the swing, then hit back with a combo.
Go for the head
A headshot with an arrow stuns a Footsoldier, and its low health means one strong combo usually finishes it.
