Garini is studying a ring of ruins on the beach east of Lurelin Village and wants pictures of three broken pieces of an inscription. Photograph the fragments around Palmorae Beach and Soka Point, report back, then kneel on one of the two glowing platforms to make Kah Yah Shrine rise out of the ground.
Starting the quest
Talk to Garini
Garini stands in Palmorae Ruins (map position x 3447, z 3339), on the coast just east of Lurelin Village; a boy from the village will lead you there if you follow him. He is puzzling over a circular inscription and asks you to copy down the matching text from the scattered monument pieces. You need the Camera rune on your slate, because the fragments have to be photographed.
Photographing the fragments
The fragment by the ruins
Stand with your back to Garini and follow the rock wall on your left from the two glowing platforms until you reach three palm trees. The fragment lies in the grass beside a large boulder. Take a picture of it with the Camera rune.
The fragment on the beach
Head back along Palmorae Beach toward Lurelin Village. The second piece sits in the shallows between a few rocks, close to some crates and floating barrels.
The fragment on Soka Point
The last piece is at the far tip of Soka Point, the crescent-shaped cape south of the beach. The lettering glows blue at night, so searching after dusk makes all three easier to spot.
Raising the shrine
Return to Garini
Show Garini the three pictures. Together they spell out a riddle about two figures finding their place and kneeling in reverence before the shrine reveals itself. He cannot work out what it means.
Kneel on a platform
Walk onto either of the two orange glowing platforms and crouch by clicking the left stick. The shrine rises from the ground at once. Kah Yah Shrine (map position x 3437, z 3317, height 130) holds the Quick Thinking trial.
