The Cursed Statue

Calip’s clue says you must pierce the gaze of the cursed statue when a dark light is in its eyes. Visit the statue canyon at night, find the figure whose eyes glow, and shoot it with an arrow to raise the Kam Urog Shrine.

Solving it

Hear the clue

Visit Calip in his hut by Fort Hateno and ask about the cursed statue. His clue says to pierce the statue’s gaze when a dark light is in its eyes. By day he may be out among the statues instead.

Find the statues

Follow the path north-east of Fort Hateno, turn north into the canyon north-west of Robred Dropoff, and you reach an area full of statues.

Shoot the eyes

Wait until about 9 PM, when one statue’s eyes begin to glow. Fire an arrow into it and the Kam Urog Shrine rises. Enter for a Spirit Orb.
