The Lost Pilgrimage

Tasho asks you to follow a nervous young Korok named Oaki to a shrine without him noticing you. Keep your distance, hold still when he turns, deal with the wolf quietly, and show yourself only after he reaches the glowing shrine. Daag Chokah Shrine is a plain blessing.

Starting the quest

Meet Tasho

Follow the path with the bean lights to the north of Korok Forest to find Tasho. She wants you to trail Oaki and see that he arrives safely. If you find Oaki first, walk into the fog and you are returned to Tasho.

Following Oaki

Keep your distance

Stay well behind him. A falling branch will startle him and make him turn, so hold still or hide if he comes back toward you. Shoot down any Courser Bee honey from a distance so the noise does not give you away.

The hollow log

When Oaki reaches a hollow log and says he is halfway there, follow around the outside of the log and wait at its end. In the clearing beyond he is scared by what he takes for a ghost and doubles back, so stand still until he calms down.

The wolf

A wolf appears further along. If you are far enough from Oaki, defeat it with an arrow; otherwise drop some meat on the ground to draw it away. Carry on straight along the path until you see the shrine glowing orange.

Reveal yourself

When Oaki arrives at the shrine, it is safe to walk up. Enter Daag Chokah Shrine and speak to the monk for the Spirit Orb.

Chests and rewards

  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Daag Chokah.
  • Ancient Core: chest in the shrine.
