Daag Chokah Shrine (Daag Chokah’s Blessing)

Daag Chokah is a blessing shrine with no puzzle. It is reached through the Korok quest The Lost Pilgrimage, in which you quietly follow a nervous young Korok named Oaki to the shrine.

How to find it

Take the path through the northern part of the forest, following the bean-shaped lights, to find Tasho. She asks you to watch over Oaki without being seen. If you find Oaki first and wander into the fog you will end up at Tasho anyway.

Solution

Start tailing Oaki

Keep your distance and stay out of sight. A bee hive can be shot down without Oaki noticing. A falling branch will startle him and he will turn, so stop or hide.

Pass the hollow log

Oaki announces he is halfway there at a hollow log. Walk around the outside and wait at the far end.

Wait out the ghost scare

In a clearing Oaki mistakes something for a ghost and doubles back. Stand still until he calms down, then resume.

Deal with the wolf

A wolf appears further along. Shoot it from range, or drop meat to distract it, before it gives you away. Follow the straight path until the glowing shrine comes into view.

Enter the shrine

Once Oaki arrives, step out. Open the chest for the Ancient Core and speak to the monk Daag Chokah for the Spirit Orb.

Chests and rewards

  • Ancient Core: in the chest inside the shrine.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Daag Chokah.
