Myahm Agana Shrine (Myahm Agana Apparatus)

A tilting maze board controlled with motion sensing is the whole puzzle. Steer the sphere through the maze, past the pitfalls, and launch it up the final ramp into the receptacle. A chest hides inside the maze and can be reached by gliding.

How to find it

The shrine is inside Hateno Village, in the south-western part near the Bolson Construction homes, just off the main village centre. It also serves as the fast-travel point for the village.

Solution

Reach the apparatus

A long path leads to the sealed monk’s chamber, with the receptacle off to the right. Climb the stairs on the right to the apparatus and examine it. Your controller now tilts the board.

Guide the sphere

Tilt gently to roll the sphere along the open walls and avoid the pits. The final ledge does not reach the slope, so dip the board to build speed and then raise it sharply to fling the sphere onto the slope beyond.

Shortcut

Motion control cannot be switched off, but you can bend it. Turn the board upside-down so the flat back faces up, drop the ball, and flick the board to throw it toward the ramp. Holding the controller upright so the maze lies on its side and the ball rolls on the wall also carries it straight to the ramp.

Phrenic Bow chest

Tilt the board slightly toward Link so he can paraglide to the bottom corner, then climb the slope to the chest with the Phrenic Bow. Tilt it enough on the way out for the ledge to rise above the slope so you can glide back down.
