Shoqa Tatone Shrine (A Modest Test of Strength)

Shoqa Tatone is a combat shrine on Puffer Beach, available after the Guardian Slideshow shrine quest. A Guardian Scout III with a spear and shield and 1,500 health guards it. The chest holds a Royal Broadsword.

How to find it

Go to the western end of Puffer Beach on the Lake Hylia coast. The shrine becomes accessible once you finish the Guardian Slideshow shrine quest.

Solution

Dodge and counter

The Scout III carries a spear and shield and has 1,500 health. Dodge and counter with flurry rushes.

Glide over the laser

Halfway through it spins a laser; use the updraft and strike from above.

Beat the last volley

Near death it charges a volley. Rush it if you can, or dodge the shots.

Claim the rewards

Open the chest for the Royal Broadsword and speak to Monk Shoqa Tatone for the Spirit Orb.
