Solution

Take the request

Talk to Rola at the arrow shop in Kakariko Village. She asks you to light the torches that stand around the Goddess Statue, just in front of Impa‘s house.

Light an arrow

Wait for the rain to stop, since fire will not take in wet weather. Draw a normal arrow and hold it over the nearby cooking pot or campfire until it ignites. A Fire Arrow works as well, and saves the trouble of lighting one.

Light the four torches

Fire the burning arrow at a torch beside the statue. Repeat for the other three, relighting an arrow at the fire each time if you are using ordinary ones.

Collect the reward

Return to Rola. She hands over the Red Rupee, worth 20 Rupees.

If you get stuck

  • Nothing will light in rain: wait for it to clear or sleep until the weather changes.
  • An arrow that has gone out must be lit again at the fire before you shoot.
