Solution

Talk to Dugby

Find Dugby in Goron Hot Springs, between Goron City and Death Mountain. Because he talks from underwater his speech is garbled, but the gist is that he hid an amazing stick somewhere toward the Bridge of Eldin. Wear two pieces of the Flamebreaker set or drink a Fireproof Elixir before you go.

Head east toward the Bridge of Eldin

Follow the path east. Expect Rock Octoroks, a Fire Lizalfos and Fire Keese on the way, so keep your weapons ready.

Bomb the wall

Past the lava falls, turn up the slope between the hot springs and Gorko Lake. A cracked wall sits in the rock there; blow it open with a bomb and pick up the Drillshaft inside.

Return to Dugby

Bring the Drillshaft back to Dugby to finish the quest.

Chests and rewards

  • Drillshaft: a spear with attack 14 and durability 50. If it breaks, it reappears at the same spot after a Blood Moon.
  • The hot springs restore hearts slowly while you stand in them.
