Face the Frost Talus

Gesane, a Rito on patrol, says a Frost Talus sits at Coldsnap Hollow in the Hebra mountains. Melt its ice, hit the ore deposit on top of it, and defeat it, then report to Gesane.

Solution

Talk to Gesane

Speak to Gesane on the bridge that joins Rito Village to Rito Stable and ask how he is. He mentions the Frost Talus.

Reach Coldsnap Hollow

Head north into the Hebra mountains. Bring cold protection. The Frost Talus rests at the bottom of the ravine.

Defeat it

Melt it with a Fire Arrow or a flame weapon, or wear the upgraded Snowquill set so the ice cannot freeze you. Climb on, then strike the ore deposit on top repeatedly.
