Hestu, a large Korok on the path to Kakariko, has lost his maracas. Defeat the Bokoblins guarding a chest at a stone circle nearby, take the maracas back to him, and he starts trading Korok Seeds for inventory space.
Solution
Meet Hestu
Follow the road between Kakariko Bridge and Kakariko Village until you see a very large Korok beside it. Speak to him. He says his name is Hestu and that his precious maracas are gone.
Clear the Bokoblins
Go back a short way along the road to a ring of standing stones, to the north-east of Hestu. Bokoblins hold the place. Defeat them all to open the treasure chest.
Return the maracas
Open the chest to take Hestu’s Maracas and bring them to Hestu. He shakes them, laments that they are empty and asks for Korok Seeds to fill them. Give him a Korok Seed and he expands one of your weapon, bow or shield slots.
Rewards and trading
- Hestu will now trade Korok Seeds for more weapon, bow and shield slots. He moves to new places as you progress.
