YunoboCo HQ East Cave

YunoboCo HQ East Cave is a cave in Eldin Canyon, east of the YunoboCo headquarters. It hides a Cobble Crusher chest, a Bubbulfrog that drops a Bubbul Gem, and the way into Isisim Shrine. Trade the gems to Koltin in The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!

How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 1764, 2837, just east of YunoboCo HQ and a little north-east of Goron City. The cave mouth is sealed with red rock. The cave is hot, so you need at least one piece of Flame Guard gear or a Fireproof Elixir before you go in.

Inside the cave

Break through the rubble at the entrance

The red rock over the cave mouth is too sturdy for ordinary weapons; it needs Yunobo’s charge. Stand near Yunobo, press A to ready him, aim and press A again to roll into the rock. Once through, follow the tunnel downward and take the Brightbloom Seeds growing along it to light the dark passages.

Kill the Bubbulfrog

A Horriblin and a Black Horriblin hang from the ceiling in the first chamber, so deal with them from range. Break the loose rocks on the ground ahead to open a passage down into a small cave, where the Bubbulfrog sits at the bottom of the pit. Knock it down and defeat it to receive a Bubbul Gem for Koltin, then climb back up.

Open the chest

Back in the main cavern, charge through the thick rocks on the far side with Yunobo. A Fire Like waits in the room beyond; an Ice Fruit or Splash Fruit arrow stuns it so you can finish it with a melee weapon. Defeating it gives you access to the treasure chest, which holds a Cobble Crusher (a stronger version of it, depending on your progress), a two-handed Goron weapon that is excellent at breaking rock.

Charge through to Isisim Shrine

Beyond the chest, the entrance to Isisim Shrine is blocked by more rubble. Smash it with Yunobo or an explosive to reach the shrine. Isisim Shrine is the “Proving Grounds: In Reverse” challenge, where your equipment is taken away until you finish; its chest holds a Magic Rod.
