Complete Guide
Enter the Kiuyoyou Shrine and take a moment to absorb the ambient glow of the surrounding environment. As you step forward, you’ll notice the intricate puzzle mechanism at play with two distinct sections: one engulfed in flames and the other covered in ice. Begin by scanning your surroundings for a block of ice situated nearby. Use your Cryonis ability to create pillars of ice on the water, allowing you to reach the fiery side of the shrine. As you approach the flames, keep an eye out for a nearby torch; you’ll need it to light the way.
Once you’ve lit the torch, carry it back to the ice section and set it ablaze on the block of ice. This melts the ice, revealing a hidden mechanism. Use your Ultrahand ability to grab the newly exposed block and position it in front of the rotating fire mechanism. As the flames pass over the block, it will heat up, allowing you to manipulate the rotation and create a path to the exit. With your path cleared, make your way to the final area, and don’t forget to collect the treasure chest along the way. Your journey through the Kiuyoyou Shrine culminates in the satisfying feeling of having conquered the elements of fire and ice, leading you one step closer to mastering the challenges of Hyrule.
