Eight of the game’s 100 Kinstone fusions are made on Mount Crenel, mostly with the Mountain Minish in Melari’s Mines. One is a Golden Tektite fusion in the first batch of 22, five open up after the Picori Festival event once you have climbed Mount Crenel and reached Melari’s Mines, and the last two wait for the Ocarina of Wind and the Palace of Winds. The table lists them in fusion order.

Fusion #020 belongs to the first 22 fusions, which are best finished before Vaati takes over the castle because some later locations differ afterwards. Partners and pieces are from Thonky’s list; Zelda Universe’s list agrees on the partners, rewards and the three Mountain Minish locations.
Melari’s Mines
Mountain Minish, southeast room (#020)
Walk to the far southeast room of Melari’s Mines and fuse a green triangle wedge with the Mountain Minish there. A Golden Tektite appears on Mt. Crenel and pays out rupees when you defeat it. Making one appear also adds the Golden Tektite figurine (112) to Carlov’s machine.
Mountain Minish, west exit (#036)
Just inside the west entrance of the mines a Mountain Minish holds the other half of a green triangle wedge. Fuse it and head to the southwest corner of the Minish Woods; the chest that appears holds a blue Kinstone piece.
Mountain Minish, east door (#038)
In the far east of the mines a Mountain Minish takes a green square tooth. The reward is a chest on a Minish path in the rain-soaked part of the map containing a blue Kinstone piece.
Mountain Minish with a pickaxe (#039)
The leftmost Mountain Minish, the one digging with a pickaxe, takes a green slant. A chest appears on the Minish path beside the Crenel hot spring with a blue Kinstone piece inside.
Melari (#037)
Melari waits in the southwest room of the mines. Fuse a red triangle wedge with him and a giant beanstalk grows at the top of Mt. Crenel. Climb it to a cloud with a Piece of Heart and a few red rupees. This is one of the Pieces of Heart that only a fusion can reveal.
Mount Crenel
Forest Minish, hot spring seed (#035)
At the foot of Mt. Crenel, near the hot spring seed, a crack in the rock leads to a Forest Minish. Fuse a green square tooth with him and a chest with 200 rupees appears close by.
Mysterious Wall, Crenel Hermit’s cave (#065)
Next to the Crenel Hermit’s cave is a cave you enter with the Mole Mitts. Dig below the far wall to uncover the Mysterious Wall and fuse a blue S-curve. A Goron appears in Goron Cave. It is one of five Mysterious Walls in the game, and together they fill Goron Cave.
Grayblade (#096)
Once you have finished the Palace of Winds, climb the walls on Mt. Crenel to reach Grayblade, the swordsman who taught you the roll attack. Fuse a red jagged teeth with him. A waterfall opens in Castor Wilds; go behind it to find Scarblade’s dojo, where he speeds up your Spin Attack.
