New Ocarina of Time Remake Commercial Released in Japan

Nintendo has released a new Japanese commercial for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2. The 30-second spot is a fast-paced look at the remake, cutting between dramatic scenes and gameplay from Link’s adventure.

One shot shows Link riding through a dark forest as a Big Poe appears ahead of him, surrounded by purple energy. Link fires an arrow from horseback, giving us a first look at how the encounter appears in the remake.

The commercial also shows Link fighting Dark Link. The brief scene captures the two crossing swords in a pale, misty setting. Dark Link’s appearance in this footage is another first for the remake, adding a glimpse of a memorable battle that Nintendo hadn’t shown in its previous videos.

The new footage comes from a Japanese Ocarina of Time commercial focused on gameplay and battles. The remake launches November 5, exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.
