The trailer highlights several updates to the 1998 adventure, including overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and symphonic orchestral music. Link can also jump and dash, while gyro aiming adds another option for using weapons.
Some of the remake’s additions change how players interact with familiar parts of Hyrule. The Switch 2’s built-in microphone lets players hum or play learned melodies on an instrument to make Link respond with the ocarina. The new Hall of Fallen Heroes displays statues of defeated monsters and lets players challenge them again.
The video also features Threads of Time, the remake’s new navigation aid. Zelda Notes support and two Ocarina of Time amiibo are also planned, with the Young Link and Young Zelda figures set to arrive in 2027.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5.
