The Armor of the Wild is Link’s classic green outfit, rising from 4 to 28 defence per piece. You earn it by finishing all 120 shrines and collecting the gift the monks leave for you; upgrading it needs forest ingredients plus parts from Farosh, Naydra and Dinraal.

How to get the Armor of the Wild
Finish every shrine
Complete all 120 shrines of the base game. The monks who guard them prepare a present for you, and the side quest A Gift from the Monks begins once the last trial is done.
Collect the gift
Follow the quest to the Forgotten Temple. The three pieces are waiting there for you to collect.

Each piece is tied to one dragon, and the dragon parts have to come from that dragon:

Upgrading the whole set to four stars therefore takes 30 Acorns, 15 Courser Bee Honey, 15 Energetic Rhino Beetles, 3 Star Fragments and two of each of the four parts from each dragon.
Great Fairy upgrade costs
Upgrading is done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for each piece separately. Awakening the four Great Fairies costs 100, 500, 1,000 and 10,000 Rupees in the order you wake them, and each one raises the highest star level you can buy by one. Once a Fairy is awake, any of them can upgrade up to the star level you have unlocked.
Set bonus
Wearing the cap, tunic and trousers together, with every piece upgraded at least twice, grants Master Sword Beam Up. While your hearts are full, the Master Sword’s beam flies further than the standard beam.
