Joloo Nah Shrine (Joloo Nah Apparatus)

Joloo Nah is a three-room apparatus puzzle. Rotate a cube to touch power terminals, then aim wind streams at fans, and finally rotate a cube covered in torches without the flames touching the water jets.

How to find it

Go to the north-east corner of the Koukot Plateau in the Gerudo Highlands and speak to the three Gorons by the hot ground to start the shrine quest Test of Will, which reveals the shrine.

Solution

Power the cube

Use the first motion terminal and rotate the cube until every electrical terminal has touched the power source once. The bars lift and the way on opens.

Take the Golden Claymore

In the second room a floating cube blows four air streams. Turn it to form an X and angle the lower left stream toward the chest in the lower left corner. Climb the left ramp and glide over for a Golden Claymore.

Feed the fans

Realign the streams on the fans. One fan is set low and gets no air, so use Magnesis to put the metal block onto that fan’s switch. Moving it lowers the nearby fan, so glide to its switch and stand on it. Stasis the switch, or weigh it down with apples, and run through the door.

Lower a water spout

In the last room, a lantern hangs over a flammable pile. Swing it with Magnesis to light the pile and drop a chest holding a Gerudo Spear. Use Magnesis to carry the chest onto the nearby floor switch to lower the left column’s spout.

Light the torches

Rotate the cube forward to light four of the six torches, then tilt it so none touch the water. Freeze the water with Stasis and ignite the last two, or use fire arrows. When all are lit, speak to Joloo Nah.

Chests and rewards

  • Golden Claymore: corner chest in the second room.
  • Gerudo Spear: chest dropped by the lantern in the third room.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Joloo Nah.
