Starting the quest
Eavesdrop on Ruli and Hagie
At night, go behind their house in Tarrey Town and listen at the second window. The couple reveal that Hunnie is sick and will only eat a particular cake with monster ingredients.
Making the cake
Gather the ingredients
Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar and Goat Butter are sold at the general store in Rito Village (Goat Butter is also sold in Kakariko Village). Monster Extract is sold by Kilton, the monster parts merchant, in exchange for Mon, which you earn by selling him monster parts. He appears at night near Skull Lake, where Zuna Kai Shrine stands, and at other places once you have met him.
Cook it
Put one of each ingredient in a cooking pot to make a Monster Cake. The Nutcake recipe from Rito Village uses an acorn instead of the Monster Extract,.
Delivering it
Give it to Ruli
Return to Tarrey Town and speak to Ruli with the cake in your pack. She thanks you and pays a Gold Rupee.
