Zora Stone Monuments

Quest typeSide quest
GiverJiahto
Starts inZora’s Domain, Lanayru region (map square I-4)
RequirementCalm Divine Beast Vah Ruta first
RewardDiamond

Jiahto, a Zora scholar on the floor below the throne room, is cataloguing the stone monuments that record Zora history. Read ten of them around Zora’s Domain, then report back to him for a Diamond. Each monument is flanked by two blue torches, which makes them easy to spot at night, and Vah Ruta‘s cliffs are a good place to glide from.

Starting the quest

Talk to Jiahto

Once Vah Ruta is calm, find Jiahto standing in front of a monument below the throne room. He asks you to find ten monuments scattered around the domain. Any you have already read on your way here count automatically.

Finding the monuments

History of the Zora, Parts 1 to 5

Warp to Vah Ruta and glide out from the cliff. The first monument sits right on the path to Zora’s Domain, so you may have read it already. The second is just past a bridge to the north-northwest, the third is beside the water near the Great Zora Bridge, the fourth is below a small waterfall south of Luto’s Crossing, and the fifth is a short glide north-west of Vah Ruta.

Monument 6, Monument 7 and Addendum 1

Addendum 1 is east of Vah Ruta on Ruto Mountain and visible from the air. Monument 6 lies a little further west. Monument 7 is another straight glide from the cliffs and gives clues to where the Zora Helm chest rests in Toto Lake.

Addendum 2

From Zora’s Domain, climb the stairs by Ne’ez Yohma Shrine and cross the bridge east toward Mikau Lake. Swim up the two waterfalls with the Zora armor; the monument stands on your right, south of Lulu Lake.

Memoir of a Gifted Stonemason

The tenth monument is the one Jiahto hints at, southeast of Upland Zorana. Climb the two waterfalls north of the domain and glide down the cliff on the left.

Turning in

Return to Jiahto

Once all ten are read, speak to Jiahto again for the Diamond.
