Champion’s Tunic

The Champion’s Tunic is a blue tunic that Impa hands over once you recover any one of your Captured Memories. It shows the health gauge of every monster you face, and its 32 defence at four stars is among the highest in the game. You do not need to finish the whole memory quest to receive it.

How to get it

Get the quest started

Have the Sheikah Slate’s camera and album restored at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, then bring the slate to Impa in Kakariko Village. She suggests that visiting the places shown in the album photos may bring your memories back.

Recover one memory

Pick any photo in the album and travel to the spot it shows. A glowing point triggers a flashback. Memories can be recovered in any order, so choose whichever is closest to your route.

Return to Impa

Go back to Impa in Kakariko Village after the first memory. She gives you the Champion’s Tunic. Later memories do not change the reward.

Great Fairy costs

Each star is bought at a Great Fairy Fountain, and you can only add as many stars as you have awakened fairies. Each fountain asks for a one-time fee in the order you wake them: 100 Rupees for the first, 500 for the second, 1,000 for the third and 10,000 for the fourth. Once a fairy is awake she upgrades any compatible piece for materials alone.

Notes

  • It cannot be dyed, unlike most other armor.
  • The horn shards come from the three dragons: Farosh, Naydra and Dinraal.
  • Silent Princess is a rare flower, and the full upgrade path needs 19 of them.
