Bludo

Bludo is the old Goron boss who asks you to find Yunobo, who went to fetch his painkillers, before you can take on Divine Beast Vah Rudania. The back pain is part of the main quest, not a side quest.

Bludo

Who he is

Bludo is the stern, elderly leader of Goron City. Back pain keeps him from using the cannon he set up against Vah Rudania, which has gone out of control and is attacking Death Mountain. He is gruff, but he cares about his people, whose mining has been driven down to the lower tunnels.

Where to find him

Bludo is in Goron City, high on the slopes of Death Mountain. The heat means you need Flamebreaker armor or a Fireproof Elixir on the way up; both can be bought at or near the city.

Quests and rewards

Find Yunobo

Speak with Bludo. He explains that he sent Yunobo to the Abandoned North Mine for painkillers and that Yunobo has not returned. He asks you to go in his place.

Return with Yunobo

In the mine, free Yunobo from the vault where he was trapped. He hurries back to Goron City with the medicine. Even with painkillers Bludo is too sore to use the cannon, so the plan changes and you set out to board Vah Rudania.

Rewards

Sources disagree on what Bludo gives you. Some list Fireproof Elixirs for taking the job, and others a Boulder Breaker in a chest in the boss’s house after you calm Vah Rudania.
