Who they are
Yunobo is timid and easily scared but wants to protect the Gorons. He works for the Goron Boss Bludo, who sends him to the mine for medicine. Bludo says that his ancestor Daruk‘s shielding ability is the only thing that scares the Divine Beast.
Where to find them
Bludo sends you to the Abandoned North Mine north of Goron City, where Yunobo is trapped in a vault in the middle of Darunia Lake. Free him and he rushes off with the medicine.
After reporting back to Bludo, meet Yunobo again near the Bridge of Eldin, past Goron Hot Springs and Daqa Koh Shrine, where two Moblins are harassing him.
Quests and rewards
Lower the Bridge of Eldin
Bludo has raised the bridge to keep Vah Rudania out. Place Yunobo in the cannon, put a Remote Bomb in it and detonate to fire him across and lower the bridge.
Fire him at Vah Rudania
Climb the mountain with Yunobo, hide from sentries, and use each cannon to fire him at the Divine Beast. Daruk‘s Protection makes the hits drive it back until you can board.
When the Divine Beast is freed you receive Daruk’s Protection yourself, and Yunobo remains in Goron City.
