Great Fairy Tera

Tera is the Great Fairy in the Gerudo Desert. Her fountain lies under the giant skeleton at the southwestern tip of the map, right beside Hawa Koth Shrine. Pay her to free her, then bring materials to upgrade armor.

Who they are

Tera is one of four Great Fairies, with Cotera near Kakariko Village, Kaysa in Tabantha and Mija by Lake Akkala. Each is sealed in a flower bud. The price rises with each fairy freed: 100, 500, 1,000 and then 10,000 Rupees.

Where to find them

Head to the far southwestern corner of the desert. Bring heat protection, since the sun and the freezing night are punishing. Sandstorms can disable your map. A sand seal makes the trip easier.

Look for the large skeleton. Her fountain lies beneath it and Hawa Koth Shrine is next to it.

Quests and rewards

Speak to the bud and pay the fee, then she opens her fountain. Each fairy you free lets all of them raise armor higher, up to four stars with all four freed.
