How to find it
Finish Locked Mementos first so the slate has its Camera. Pikango waits near the Goddess Statue in Kakariko Village. The path leads up past Ta’loh Naeg Shrine and further north to the fountain, a clearing between trees.
Solution
Follow Pikango
Agree to help and trail the painter up the path behind the village. He runs out of breath on the slope and asks you to continue and take a photograph of what you find.

Release the Great Fairy
Continue between the trees to a large flower bud in the clearing. Approach it and give 100 rupees. Cotera emerges, and offers to upgrade armor if you bring the right materials. You can return any time to improve most armor pieces.

Take the photograph
Use the Camera on the fountain while it is in bloom and keep the picture in your album.

Show Pikango
Return to Pikango and show him the photo. He is moved but unimpressed, and in thanks he offers to identify the places in Zelda’s photos. Find him at stables and towns afterward to receive hints for the Captured Memories quest.

Rewards
- Cotera’s armor upgrade service, available after the 100 rupee payment.
- Pikango‘s location hints for each captured memory.
