Starting the quest
Speak to Nebb
Talk to Nebb in the middle of Hateno Village. He asks you to show him a weapon and names the next one only after you finish the previous one, so you can spread the hunt out.

Getting each weapon
Easy early finds
The Traveler’s Sword is common, so pick one up on the road or from a Bokoblin camp. Moblins carry the Moblin Club, and Fire Wizzrobes drop the Fire Rod. The payouts at this stage are small.
Yiga weapons
The Duplex Bow and Windcleaver come from the Yiga Clan. Footsoldiers drop the bow and Blademasters drop the Windcleaver. Footsoldiers turn up more often and Blademasters begin to appear after you defeat Master Kohga, and Blademasters can also be found in the Yiga Clan Hideout.
Ancient and frost weapons
Defeat a Guardian Scout in a shrine with a moderate combat test to obtain an Ancient Battle Axe+ (tier set by difficulty scaling). The Frostspear is carried by several enemies in the cold north and is also found in some shrines. Finally, buy an Ancient Short Sword with materials at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab for the Diamond.
Show Nebb
Equip the weapon he asked for, talk to him again and offer it to collect the rupees.
