The Royal Valley graveyard, Veil Falls and the Cloud Tops are where the second half of the game’s Kinstone fusions sit. Twenty-two of them (#071-#092) open once you finish the Royal Crypt: the ghosts and Dampe in the graveyard, the Source of the Flow, the Wind Tribe and the Mysterious Clouds. This page also covers the five fusions in Hyrule Castle Garden, because their rewards pay out in the garden itself and at Veil Falls.

The guides agree on the partners but disagree on a few details. One lists a Golden Tektite from Hailey as worth 50 rupees, another 100; Zelda Universe also lists a third Gina fusion for a Golden Octorok, which the other guide does not, so it is left out. The nine gold fusions are on their own page. The five cloud fusions are #086 to #090. The Thonky list describes only #090 in detail, so the other four share its pattern: one pinwheel per cloud, and the whirlwind opens once all five turn.

Royal Valley graveyard

Finish the Royal Crypt first. The six graveyard fusions send their rewards all over Hyrule.

Spookter (#071, #072)

Spookter floats near the entrance to the graveyard. Fuse a blue S-curve and Borlov, the man with the chest game in Hyrule Town, adds a harder difficulty level. Fuse a blue squarish and his brother Spekter leaves Hyrule Town, which lets you into the house he guarded.

Dampe (#073, #074)

Dampe the gravekeeper takes a blue S-curve for a grave that opens in the upper right of the graveyard (another guide lists 100 Mysterious Shells here). A green triangle wedge opens a crack in the Wind Ruins with a red Kinstone piece.

Gina (#075, #076)

Gina is the ghost in the graveyard. With a green triangle wedge she opens a waterfall in Hyrule Town with a chest of 200 Mysterious Shells. With a second green triangle wedge, a tree in Western Wood rises and you can reach a chest of 100 Mysterious Shells.

Nayru’s fusion in the Hyrule Town inn (#078, red triangle wedge) also pays out here: a joy butterfly appears in the graveyard and makes you swim faster.

Veil Falls

Source of the Flow (#083)

With King Gustaf’s gold piece from the Royal Crypt, climb the bridge in Veil Falls to the doorway known as the Source of the Flow. Fuse the gold piece with it and the door opens, giving access to the caves and the Veil Springs that lead up to the Cloud Tops. See the Veil Falls chapter for the route.

Cloud Tops

Gale (#085)

Gale stands near the entrance to the Cloud Tops. A red triangle wedge opens a waterfall at Veil Falls with a cave and a Piece of Heart.

Hailey (#084)

Hailey is next to the hole down to Veil Springs. Fuse a green square tooth and a Golden Tektite appears at Veil Falls; defeat it for rupees.

The five Mysterious Clouds (#086-#090)

Five gold pieces lie in chests and under cloud bulges around the Cloud Tops. Each fits one Mysterious Cloud, and every fusion starts a pinwheel spinning. When all five turn, a giant whirlwind appears and leads up to the Tower of Winds.

House in the Clouds: Flurris, Caprice and Siroc (#080-#082, #091, #092)

Inside the House in the Clouds you can fuse with three of the Wind Tribe. Flurris takes a green square tooth twice: one fusion sends a Golden Rope to Castor Wilds, the other raises a Western Wood tree with a dirt patch of rupees. Caprice takes a green slant and a chest with a blue Kinstone piece appears in Veil Falls. Siroc, on the top floor, takes a green triangle wedge and a green square tooth, each sending a chest with a red Kinstone piece to the Royal Valley graveyard.

Hyrule Castle Garden

The three early fusions (#007, #008, #022)

Three of the first 22 fusions happen in the garden. A green triangle wedge summons a Golden Rope to the garden. A second green triangle wedge drains a fountain to a fairy fountain. A red triangle wedge drains a fountain and reveals steps down to a Piece of Heart. Do all three before Vaati takes over the castle.

Forest Minish crack (#062)

After the Ocarina of Wind, shrink at the crack in the upper-right of the garden. A green square tooth lifts a tree in Western Wood so you can reach a dirt patch that hides rupees.

Grimblade (#097)

After the Palace of Winds, find the hidden underground room at the right of the garden. A red long teeth opens a waterfall at Veil Falls with Splitblade’s dojo, which speeds up the split gauge of your Spin Attack.
