How to find it
Goron City is in the Eldin region in the north-east of the map, on the slopes of Death Mountain. The Abandoned North Mine, where the quest sends you first, is scorching, so bring heat protection such as Flamebreaker armor or Fireproof Elixirs.
Solution
Take on the quest and find Yunobo
Inside the city, talk to Bludo, the boss of the Gorons, to start the Divine Beast Vah Rudania quest. He asks you to find his assistant Yunobo, who went to the Abandoned North Mine for painkillers. Reach Yunobo in the vault at the back of the mine.
Return to Bludo and look at the statue
Back in Goron City, talk to Bludo again. He is surprised that you do not know who Daruk was and points out the statue of Daruk above the city. Look up at it to trigger the memory.
Finish the cutscene
The cutscene shows Link’s time with the Goron champion, Daruk, aboard Divine Beast Vah Rudania. When it ends the memory is stored in your collection.
If you get stuck
- Nothing happens at the statue: start the Divine Beast Vah Rudania quest, find Yunobo in the Abandoned North Mine and then speak to Bludo again.
