How to find it
The quest only begins once you have finished three Kakariko quests: Find the Fairy Fountain, Flown the Coop and By Firefly’s Light. Then talk to the guards outside Impa‘s house.
Solution
Learn of the theft
Speak to the guards outside Impa‘s house. They explain that a thief has stolen something precious from Paya. Wait by the fire outside until 10 PM.
Tail Dorian
At night the guard Dorian leaves his post. Follow him at a distance, using stealth armor or stealth food if you have them, and save often, because being spotted restarts the tail. He heads up the path toward the Great Fairy; hide behind the rock by the bridge as he crosses.
Defeat the Yiga Blademaster
When Dorian calls out “Show yourself!”, step forward. A Yiga Blademaster appears and attacks you. He is fast and hits hard, up to five hearts a swing, so soften him with arrows from range and finish with a shield and a one-handed weapon, eating hearty food beforehand.
Use the orb
Dorian confesses that the Yiga blackmailed him and hands over the orb. Place it on the pedestal to reveal the shrine, then open the chest inside and speak to the monk.
