Snow Boots

The Snow Boots keep you at normal speed through deep snow. Bozai first lends them during The Eighth Heroine, then takes them back; to keep them for good you must finish the follow-up quest The Forgotten Sword, which sends you to photograph a sword on Gerudo Summit.

How to get it

Complete The Eighth Heroine

Finish The Eighth Heroine first. Completing it returns the loaned Snow Boots to Bozai and unlocks this follow-up quest, which he gives you the next time you speak to him in the Gerudo outfit.

Reach Gerudo Summit

Wear cold-weather gear such as the Snowquill Set, or use cold-resistant food or elixirs. Head to Gerudo Summit (x -4105, z 699, map square A-5); Keeha Yoog Shrine (x -3852, z 716) lies a short way to the east of the summit marker.

Photograph the sword

A huge sword stands stuck in the ground at the southern end of the summit, between the statue and the East Gerudo Ruins. Step back far enough to fit the whole blade in frame, take its picture with the Camera Rune, then return to Gerudo Town.

Report to Bozai

Change back into the Gerudo outfit so Bozai recognizes you, then speak to him. He gives you the Snow Boots to keep.

Great Fairy costs

Each star is bought at a Great Fairy Fountain, and you can only add as many stars as you have awakened fairies. Each fountain asks for a one-time fee in the order you wake them: 100 Rupees for the first, 500 for the second, 1,000 for the third and 10,000 for the fourth. Once a fairy is awake she upgrades any compatible piece for materials alone.
