The Snowquill Set is the cold-weather outfit for the Hebra Mountains, the Gerudo Highlands and Mount Lanayru. Each piece gives Cold Resistance, and the full set makes Link immune to freezing. It is sold in Rito Village.

Where to buy
Brazen Beak runs the armour shop in Rito Village (map position x -3618, z -1808, square B-3). All three pieces are in stock, so you only need the Rupees.

Red Chuchu Jelly and Fire Keese Wing come from fire-themed monsters. Warm Safflina and Sunshroom grow in warm regions, Red Lizalfos Tail drops from Fire-Breath Lizalfos, and Rubies come from ore deposits.
Set bonus
Wear all three pieces, each upgraded to at least two stars, for the Unfreezable bonus. The pieces can also be dyed in Hateno Village.
Where to upgrade
Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain. Four fountains exist: Cotera near Kakariko Village (map position x 1976, z 846, square G-5), Kaysa in Tabantha (x -3540, z -747, B-4), Mija in Akkala (x 4112, z -1378, J-3) and Tera in the far south-west of the Gerudo Desert (x -4870, z 3825, A-8). Awakening them costs 100, 500, 1,000 and 10,000 Rupees in the order you wake them, and every fairy you awaken raises the highest star level you can reach by one, up to four stars. Each piece is upgraded one star at a time, and the materials are used up per piece.
